Business Analyst – Intern
The Business Analyst intern will work with the Optamo team and Optamo’s clients to understand, analyze, and solve critical problems that our clients face. The intern will develop processes and frameworks to facilitate our product development efforts. The intern will also be involved in developing and solving large-scale Mathematical Optimization models.

Key Responsibilities
- Document and formalize costumers’ existing business process, resolve conflicting information about processes and requirements
- Unify processes from different clients to minimize customizations
- Develop process flow-charts
- Extract data from the client’s database, clean up the data, and feed it to the Optimization Module
- Solve and test Mathematical Optimization Models with real data
- Develop business logic and critical metrics for incorporation into decision support models and tools
- Logically structure recommendations and supporting data to formulate solid, logical and understandable business cases.
- Research and find innovative ways to improve and streamline processes for our clients
Qualifications and Skills
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s / Master’s program
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Familiarity with SQL and Python
- Strong analytical, communication, multitasking, and presentation skills
- Ability to self-start
